✔️ Our team of specialists prepared for you an educational article on the topic: "How to change the version of the Minecraft server?".

Someone adheres to the "classics" and plays the good old version 1.12.2, while someone likes to follow the updates and immediately installs the new version at the slightest change. And this has its advantages, because new various tricks are added and the game becomes more colorful and interesting.

❗️❗️ THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO CHANGE THE VERSION OF MINECRAFT ❗️❗️

OPTION №1 (SELECTING A VERSION IN THE CONTROL PANEL IN 1 CLICK)

We recently made a SUPER COOL feature and added ALL THE MOST CURRENT versions of Minecraft to our control panel. All you need is to go to the list of versions, select the one you need and click the "Install" button. Wow! Your server is ready to use! Just reload it. We guess it's not difficult, even a beginner will definitely cope with this! We do not recommend installing Vanilla / Bukkit / Spigot cores as they work terribly and lag a lot.

The versions displayed depend on the Java you choose. Pay attention to this.

OPTION №2 (INSTALLING THE CORE USING FILEZILLA. MANUAL LOADING)

For those who have been "in the know" for a long time and have been setting up Minecraft servers for more than a day, they know that any core can be installed independently using the FiileZilla program. After all, our Hosting-Minecraft.EU provides full FTP access.

The version of the Minecraft server is quite easy to change to the one you need.

Go to the section in our control panel-> "Startup Options".

EVERYTHING IS VERY SIMPLE:

Using SFTP you upload the core you need (jar file to run) with the version you need and specify its name in the "SERVER JAR FILE".
